Hear me out, Technology is AWESOME! however… there are downsides to it as well.

Every day, we use technology to make our lives easier and connect with our friends, loved ones, and random people (hopefully not creeps) across the world.

But there’s another side to this story and now I’m going to explain how being always connected can actually harm our health, our minds, and our relationships.

I’ll also talk about how it affects our privacy and our planet, and even makes us less productive at work (yes, you read that right!).

Chapter One: The Unseen Physical Toll of Constant Connectivity

When we use technology a lot, we often don’t see the damage it can do to our bodies. Staring at screens for a long time can hurt our eyes, mess up our sleep, and keep us sitting too much, which is bad for our hearts and bodies.

did you know that researchers have analyzed a total of 13 publications and found that sitting for more than eight hours without any physical activity is associated with a mortality risk comparable to that caused by obesity and smoking?
