What I’ve learned in the 6 years of being DevOps Engineer in Europe.

Picture this: It’s a crisp morning in Belgium, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air. Me, a DevOps maestro, wakes up to the sound of clinking keyboards and the promise of another day filled with coding adventures.

As I navigate the bustling streets of Belgium, I can’t help but marvel at the eclectic blend of medieval architecture and modern innovation. From the cobblestone alleys of Bruges to the sleek skyscrapers of Brussels, Belgium is a melting pot of history and progress – much like the ever-evolving world of DevOps.

But let’s not forget the real stars of the show: Belgian waffles and chocolate. My love affair with these delectable treats rivals my passion for coding. In between debugging sessions and server deployments, you’ll often find me indulging in a heavenly stack of waffles or savoring a piece of artisanal chocolate – because even DevOps engineers need fuel for their coding escapades!

Belgian Waffles

Living in Belgium for six years has taught me some valuable lessons. I’ve learned that just like debugging code, navigating the intricacies of Belgian bureaucracy requires patience, perseverance, and a good sense of humor. From deciphering incomprehensible tram schedules to mastering the art of politely declining a third helping of fries, I have truly embraced the Belgian way of life.

But amidst the chaos and quirkiness of Belgian living, I have found my tribe – a community of fellow tech enthusiasts who share my passion for innovation and creativity. Together, we hack away at problems, exchange coding tips over pints of Belgian beer, and occasionally embark on epic quests to find the perfect waffle topping.

Must try Belgian Beer

As the sun sets over the picturesque Belgian countryside, I reflect on my journey as a DevOps engineer living in Belgium. It’s been a wild ride filled with laughter, challenges, and plenty of delicious snacks. And as I power down my laptop for the night, I know that tomorrow will bring another opportunity to blend my love for technology with the irresistible charm of Belgium.

So here’s to me – the DevOps guru who found my home amidst the waffles, chocolate, and code of Belgium. Cheers to many more adventures in the land of surreal beauty and endless coding possibilities!
