Things My Dad Taught Me, I live by them
This is a father appreciation post, and a bit of experience sharing.
My dad always shared some nuggets of wisdom with me randomly, I usually laughed at some, was shocked by some and never understood the rest, mostly because they have been dad jokes.
Fast forward to today, I started realising that he shared with me some very interesting and important information that if I paid attention or took then seriously, My life would’ve been veeeery easy! Today I’m going share with you some of them, so stick around :)
1) Education
Whether or not you’re going to work with your degree, its always important to have one just in case. you always need something to fall back on.
2) Investment
Never let your money pile up in your bank account. you need to make your money work for you and not work for your money. invest in something that will give you a decent return.
3) Never let others control how you feel
As Sadhguru said in one of his interviews:” if someone decides what should happen within you, that’s the worst form of slavery”
We cannot control how others feel when we interact with them, but we can always control how we feel.
